Job Description

HopCare Home Services is looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join our growing team.
The role involves supporting clients in their homes or care settings to live comfortably, independently, and with dignity.
You will assist with daily living activities, monitor wellbeing, and provide emotional and physical support in line with care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality personal care including assistance with washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
• Support clients with mobility and safe use of equipment such as hoists and wheelchairs.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as needed.
• Monitor clients’ physical and emotional wellbeing, reporting any changes promptly.
• Encourage independence, companionship, and engagement in daily activities.
• Maintain accurate records and follow all care plans and safeguarding procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in care or support work is preferred but not essential – full training provided.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK and pass a DBS background check.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle are advantageous but not mandatory.
