Job Description
HopCare Home Services is recruiting dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) to provide high-quality, person-centred mental health support to our clients in community and residential settings.
The successful candidate will deliver clinical care, promote recovery, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the wellbeing of individuals with diverse mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based nursing care to clients experiencing mental health conditions.
- Develop, review, and implement individualized care plans in line with best practice.
- Administer prescribed medication and monitor treatment effectiveness.
- Assess risk and implement appropriate safety and crisis intervention strategies.
- Support clients in developing coping mechanisms, independence, and social engagement.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate effectively with healthcare partners.
- Participate in supervision, team meetings, and continuing professional development.
Candidate Requirements:
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Mental Health Nurse.
- Minimum of 1 year post-registration experience in mental health care (community or inpatient).
- Strong assessment, observation, and communication skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the Mental Health Act, safeguarding, and person-centred principles.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and build trust with clients and families.
- Valid UK right to work and enhanced DBS clearance.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel between client sites is desirable.
